Why Slow Cook?
Slow cookers are practical. They cook with mostly moisture so there is no sticking. The appliance also runs on very little electricity and is perfect for warm weather months when using a conventional oven would make the kitchen uncomfortably warm. It is also ideal for serving food directly from the cooker, making it great for holiday entertaining or crowds.
